Glossary: new terms for construction

Rather than setting out a manifesto, the studio assembles terms, images and annotations into a working glossary—an archive of the references, processes and intentions behind its projects. Architecture is examined here as process: observed, revisited and altered through practice and through exchange with other disciplines.

The publication presents itself as provisional, a document to be added to, questioned and reread rather than a closed theory. What it offers is access to the thinking that usually stays inside the studio.

Sede Vacante Nº1 is the first number in a new series from Lisbon's Exemplo Books, given over to the working vocabulary of the architecture studio salazarsequeromedina. Small and deliberately unfinished, it reads as a studio notebook made public.
