SEE4C

This book examines how architects can contribute to the transformation of urban space in contemporary South-Eastern Europe and what forms of agency they can exercise within complex political, economic, and social conditions. Emerging from the SEE4C research project, it draws on extensive fieldwork conducted in Belgrade, Podgorica, Skopje, and Tirana. Through analytical essays, archival material, photographs, maps, and diagrams, the publication explores everyday practices, maintenance, public administration, real estate dynamics, and civic mobilisations. More than a conclusion, the book serves as a starting point for future collaborations, research, and new ways of rethinking urban design and collective urban futures.
